In Collection 1 we are studying the struggles between the individual and society. What are some ways an individual may struggle to be part of society, and why? Why might it be difficult for a nation to unite for a common cause? Use specific examples in your response.

These pictures show just a few of my favorite books. I like to read gardening books and classic literature about interesting people. Gardening and being out in nature restores my soul, and reading about unusual human interactions is a fascinating glimpse into someone else's world that helps me learn more about the human condition.
